A farmer bought two roosters to live on his farm.
Their names were Hickle and Pickle and they had a lot of charm.
The problem with Hickle and Pickle is that they like to sleep,
So when the sun rose up each day, you wouldn’t hear a peep.

The very next day when the sun came up
There was no crowing to wake the farmer up.
The farmer knew this was not the usual way
He needed to hear the rooster’s way.

Hickle and Pickle the farmer said,
It’s your job to be first out of bed.
You must wake up when the sun comes up.
